Woodside Warriors

This is the homepage for the Woodside Warriors Cricket Club based in Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. We have been playing 20 overs cricket now for over 30 years. The game we play is very similar to 20twenty cricket , the main difference being that in our version, all outfield players (other than the wicket keeper), have to bowl 2 overs each. Also, we don't play the LBW rule since our batsmen are crap and our umpires are usually senile.

SING HOSANA! EVEN WITH THE KUNZ DRAG FACTOR WE STILL DESTROY ANOTHER BUNCH OF JOKERS
WOODSIDE 166 FOR 5 AFTER 20 OVERS
B.R.I. 81 FOR 6 AFTER 20 OVERS

The mighty warriors continue their unstoppable march for world cricketing domination by doubling the B R I score last night.

Ste stead asked me to mention his bowling because he got the 2 openers out, he also managed to provide the batting line up with a much needed duck extending his run of comedy batting to three games.

The warriors started out of the blocks on the 'b' of bang on a run rate of 12 an over from Paxie and Jaxie. This ensured that the rest of the team were not held up by an ageing Polish nurdler. Mr J Kenny at last threw off his gypsy curse and managed to score some runs at last.

Gazing around the team we noticed we had 9 strong bowlers and Mr Kunz. His curious style involved throwing the ball down the wicket in a slapdash fashion hoping to confuse the batters rather like a 'river of shit' just like Mr Norris last week. As we know, such a river is hard to swim...

Captain Kunz has now vowed to not bowl a wide all season.

The BRI didn't know what hit them, the Warriors steamroller marches on like Morris senior bowling.

Oh and Tom caught 2 more again, it is truly a time for miracles.
