Woodside Warriors

This is the homepage for the Woodside Warriors Cricket Club based in Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. We have been playing 20 overs cricket now for over 30 years. The game we play is very similar to 20twenty cricket , the main difference being that in our version, all outfield players (other than the wicket keeper), have to bowl 2 overs each. Also, we don't play the LBW rule since our batsmen are crap and our umpires are usually senile.

ASHES ARE A CON!

Warriors captain, Richard 'Rex' Kunz (left), yesterday dismissed England's ashes win.

'The Warriors have won 10 matches this season, England only won 2 against the Aussies' seethed Mr Kunz, making no attempt to hide his vitriol.

'If the country made such a song and dance about every Warriors win, the economy would collapse and the U.K would be a third world country like Belgium", he seethed, spitting coco-pops across his breakfast table, until he was told off.
